# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It uses ingredients you probably already have and transforms them into something that looks and tastes impressive.
  • The feta gets creamy and tangy in the oven, soaking into the bread in the best way.
  • You can eat it as a snack, a lunch, or even breakfast if no one is watching.
02 -
  • If your bread is thin or soft, toast it lightly before adding the toppings so it does not turn soggy.
  • Do not skip the final drizzle of olive oil, it adds richness and helps the feta melt into the bread.
  • Watch the feta closely near the end, it can go from golden to too dark quickly.
03 -
  • Use block feta instead of pre-crumbled for a creamier texture that melts better in the oven.
  • If your tomatoes are not very sweet, add a tiny pinch of sugar to the bowl when you toss them with oil.
  • Let the toasts cool for a minute before eating so the cheese sets just enough to hold together without burning your mouth.
